...really?! How time flies when you're having fun.

I just received word that I will be published again in Scrap N Art digimag again. So very exciting! I have a layout and a card to share that I submitted, but it did not make it into the issue.

Miriam had been wanting to be a flower girl for a very long time. Kean had been a ring bearer numerous times, but she still hadn't gotten the chance until last July. My sister-in-law graciously asked Miriam to attend at her wedding, took her shopping for a dress and shoes (along with some other goodies), and Miriam was delighted!

I am so very super excited 'cuz six of my layouts are being considered for publication in Scrap N Art magazine. I had to take them down from my blog for now, but I can post them back in March 2010. The issue I'm being considered for is Jan/Feb 2010. This is so very exciting. (Did I mention that I'm excited?) I would love to get regularly published and it sounds like things might be heading that direction. Wish me luck!

Scrapbook Expo

I had such a fantastic time at Expo with Kristine, Jenn, and Christina. We ate some yummy Japanese food, shopped a little, finished some layouts, and shared lots of giggles. Since then I have had quite a bit of scrappin' mojo, so now I have several projects to share. :)

You might be wondering why there are so many old pictures in these layouts and that is because I finally started sorting through all my old photos. I would like to get them all into albums, but there are a few that I love so much that I just had to scrap 'em.

Also, thank you, Bob, for the wonderful scanner which created these beautiful images. They look so much better than taking a photo!

I just wanted to upload this one layout. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. I did a stamp resist technique for the yellow and black rays, used alcohol inks on glossy paper for the large cloud frame, and drew the clouds by hand.

My friend Sonda has a daughter named Baylee with Leigh's Syndrome. In early July the doctors discovered a brain tumor inside Baylee and have given her three months to live, at best. Layouts to Share, Photo Class-Week 2, and More!

I was very blessed to get to crop with my friend Lena last Friday night. I don't get to see her too often, but I always enjoy her company. We had lots of giggles together. AND I completed three layouts! Okay...well, I *started* three layouts and finished them the next day in my Scrap Studio. *geesh* I wish I weren't so slow! You'll notice there are no layouts this time of Miriam since I am going through all of my old pictures and scrapbooking them or putting them in albums.

Okay, so a few tips from Photography Class...I had to order a better camera in order to take this class, so I have jotted down some notes for general picture taking. Once I get my new camera, I will be able to give more technical instruction.

Your Point of Focus should be the clearest, sharpest point. In a portrait, the Point of Focus is the eye. If you are unsure where to set the aperture and shutter speed, use the Sunny 16 Rule: Set the aperture to f16, then use a shutter speed closest to the ISO or faster. For example: when using ISO 400, set the shutter speed to 1/400. Remember to use a tri-pod if shooting a shutter speed faster than 1/60!

Most digital cameras come with an Auto White Balance function that works pretty well most of the time. Another way to think about White Balance, is to think of Color Temperature. The White Balance evaluates the light and sets the camera to adjust. For example: snow gives off a bluish light, so the camera compensates for the blue color by adding magenta. If you would like to manually adjust the White Balance or Color Temperature, use the setting that indicates the light source, such as "sun light" or "fluorescent light." "Tungsten" indicates regular yellow lightbulb light.

In iPhoto as well as Photoshop, you can view a picture's Histogram. The Histogram looks like a graph with peaks and valleys. In iPhoto it is found when one presses the Adjust button. Ideally, a photograph should have all of it's peaks in the center of the Histogram. You can adjust the exposure by dragging the arrows at the bottom of the Histogram left or right. Pay attention to how this is affecting your photo. Although this is a guide to a well exposed photo, it is not a hard and fast rule.

We have had a busy week here in the Arch/Brock household. Miriam has been in Art Camp during the mornings and on playdates in the afternoon. It finally got hot here in Sacramento and the peas are suffering for it. Jerry built them a very impressive shade, but I'm afraid they are not going to withstand the summer heat. I've harvested the hardened peas and will save them to plant in October when the heat is not so intense. The tomatoes, carrots, sunflowers, bell peppers, zucchinni, cucumbers, pumpkins, and potatoes, however, are thriving. Kean got a new Ben 10 videogame and has been avidly playing it since Uncle Gordon gave it to him on Tuesday. The kids and I are going camping with two other moms and their kids next week. I hope to get lots of great pictures of the hiking and beach fun. The picture below is one that I altered in Photoshop during class of Miriam from Art Camp. Photography Class, Week 1

I've completed my first week of digital photography class and so far it has been great. I like my teacher a lot, he is really knowledgeable and I have already learned quite a bit from him. I thought I would post my class notes here so that I can refer to them later and also for anyone who is interested in taking better pictures.

The first thing I learned is that I need an SLR camera! I have a very nice point and shoot which takes nice pics most of the time, but I can't make the aperture very small or large. It does have a wide range of shutter speeds tho, which is nice. I now know how to change it so I can take action shots without the flash and the image is not blurry.

The aperture is the opening inside the camera which allows light in. In low light, the camera should be at the widest setting and the smallest for lots of light. The aperture is also called the F Stop. On my Canon, it is indicated by a number that begins with F. The bigger the number, the smaller the opening.

The shutter speed controls how quickly a picture is recorded. For still shots, start at a shutter speed of 1/60 and continue to work your way up (faster) until the shot has the light you want. More light is allowed in at slower shutter speeds. Never use a shutter speed slower than 1/60 for a handheld shot. Instead, mount it on a tripod and then decrease the shutter speed. For action shots, increase the shutter speed as high as it will go without looking too dark.

The ISO is the "film's" sensititvity to light. The higher the ISO, the more sensitivity to light. With digital cameras we have the option of changing the ISO without having to change out the film. For most pictures, keep the ISO as low as possible without making it too dark.

Now go practice! Set your camera to M for manual, set your shutter speed at 1/60, your ISO to 400, and play with your aperture. When you hold the shutter button down halfway, the camera will focus itself and warn you if your aperture is too large or too small. On my camera it gives me a positive or negative number. When you are comfortable with adjusting the shutter speed and aperture, try playing with the ISO. Be sure to upload the pictures onto a computer so you can see if they are clear or grainy. Some programs like Adobe Photoshop record the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO settings for you so you can recreate it on another picture. Have fun!

I've had a few weeks' break from school while the kids are still in school, so I got a little scrappy time. I completed one layout and another is halfway finished. Plus I made a couple of thank you cards for Miriam's birthday.

In everyday life, Kean will be competing 5th grade and Miriam will be completing 1st soon. We were very pleased that Miriam was GATE identified which means she will benefit from all the fabulous teachers that Kean has had in the program. Jerry is working a lot, but we are happy for the work, just like everyone else. I am looking forward to starting a photography class next week, so hopefully I will get a good teacher and be able to take some better pictures. Be watching for my assignments over the next couple of weeks.

Things have been so very busy with school, home, and life. Seems like everyone is having to cut back, go out of town for work, and spend less. Not really a bad thing if you think about it.

I do have lots of pictures to share of our recent adventures and milestones reached which I hope to get to this week while we are all out of school for Spring Break. For now, I would like to share this poem which has made a big difference in my life. I hope that it touches you as well.

Today marks our wedding anniversary. 8 years ago I married my best friend and soul mate. We had a wonderful steak dinner with my in-laws complete with a homemade cake and heart balloon decorations. My very talented mother-in-law, Patti, made this gorgeous banner for the cake. Happy Anniversary, My Love! You are the absolute dream!!!

Favorite CHA Releases

As many of you know last week was CHA in Anaheim. Of course, I wasn't there (maybe someday) but I am excited about some of the new products. What I'm not excited about is that Paris Hilton has entered the scrapbooking world. Although she didn't design the products herself, she does get to approve them. They are aimed at teens in an effort to tap into that developing scrapbook market. I don't know how she could be more opposite to scrapping, but I guess she has to get her tentacles into everything. *shudder* What's really disappointing is that she is considered a "role model" for today's teens.

ANYWAY...here are some of my favorite new releases. Although I have been a huge fan of Basic Grey for years, I'm not jumping up and down about their new products. All I could think when I was flipping through was, "Seen it, seen it, seen it..." However, I do like their Wisteria line. The brads are especially yummy.

I had cooled to 3 Bugs in a Rug over the last year or so, but I love their new lines! Aren't those little birds precious? I love the mix of subdued colors and the throw back style to the 60's. Those owls remind me of the owl from the old Tootsie Pop commercials. You know, "How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop..."

Also very cool is the Melange series from Creative Imaginations. Marah Johnson (one of my favorites) and Christine Adolph combined their styles to make this funky fresh line. I dig the camo paper and those leopard print duckies are to die for. I'm not in the market for any baby scrapbook products, but I'll be watching for what else these two come up with.

I saved the best for last! Maya Road has come out with some ADORABLE chipboard shapes as well as a mist to color them with. I must have them all!!! Check out those angel wings, and those trees, and what about those gears?! So cute, fun, and different!

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, I did scrap last Scrump Day, but I can't post the layout yet. I am doing another round of Scrap Whispers, so I can't reveal it until the race is over. On a side note, my friend Jennifer pointed out that "scrump" actually means "to steal fruit." Too funny!

Scraproom Reveal

As many of you know, since last November Jerry and I have been working on remodeling my Scraproom. Completely. Paint, floors, everything. Well, I am pleased to announce that it is finished! And I just love it.

The walls are a very pale pink, similar to a french manicure. The curtains and chandelier are from Ikea. The light on my desk is also an iPod dock.
For the flower jars, I saved Frappaccino bottles, spray painted the lids, and then stamped some tags for labels.
These jars are from Ikea and hold all of my brads, buttons, and small embellishments by color.
Jerry made this pegboard for me. Everything came from Home Depot. And where does all that lovely light come from? A Sun Tunnel-I just LOVE it! And here are a few things I altered especially for the room. The clock and clock face are Heidi Swapp.

e-Published Again!

I am so excited! After coming home from Christmas vacation, I discovered that one of my layouts is featured in the Scrapbooks Etc. newsletter. I had posted this layout MONTHS ago and had forgotten I even entered it. Such a nice surprise!

We had a wonderful time at the Cabin again this year. It started snowing on Sunday and snowed hard all the way through Christmas day. On Friday we had a great time sledding in all the nice powdery snow.

Kean made the MAFYES ("Most Amazing Fort You've Ever Seen") and both kids had a great time playing in it.
The only sad part was when Poe got lost and was discovered frozen to the ground after spending two nights in the snow. She survived fine tho and appears no worse for the wear. She even tried to stay behind at the Cabin and was caught hiding behind Papo's chair. Fortunately I found her and brought her home.

School's OUT!

After a really busy semester, I get a one month break for the Winter Holidays. Yay!!! I had a great time in both my classes and I'm really looking forward to the Spring Semester. Also, I expect to get an A+ in both Art Design and Critical Thinking. Sure wish I had put this much effort in last time I was in college...

Here is my Art final. We had to create a piece of art using a nursery rhyme that was assigned by our teacher. I had so much fun with this. I drew out the house and garage and then painted it with acrylic paint. I painted printer paper to make my own gray paper-it has a nice texture to it. I colored in the black and white images using chalk and Stickles. Then I used Crystal Effects on the balloons and the bicycle to make them glossy and stand out. I coated the entire piece in Mod Podge to preserve it. I'm so happy with how this turned out that I plan to frame it and hang it in Miriam's room. Too fun! This class opened up so many new techniques for me, I can't wait to take the Design 2 class.

Halloween Pictures

Hello there! Mostly I have been busy with schoolwork and renovating my scrapbook room, so I haven't had much scrappy time. I have been playing Scrap Whispers, but I can't post that layout until the current contest is over.

In the meantime, here are some pictures from Halloween. We went trick or treating in the neighborhood, then took the kids over to my in-laws. There we had a tasty chili dinner and my MIL took the kids to the neighbor's house for more trick or treats. Then we went over to my friend Sara's and spent the rest of the evening in their wonderful company. Fortunately the kids' soccer games got rained out the next day, so Jerry and I spent the day painting. I should be able to post those pictures soon.

I am so excited for my sweet friend Jenn...she is getting her very first gallery show this weekend! Check out her blog for details. On Saturday you can meet with the photographers at Downtown Plaza. It has been amazing watching Jenn grow as an artist, she has a true gift and I am just thrilled for her...

As for me, I have not found any time to scrapbook or to even make cards lately. I feel kind of like I am on a speeding train and hanging on for dear life. I'm not stressed really, it just seems like there are never enough hours in a day. Maybe that's just what it's like being a grown up. My scraproom is a gigantic mess, but I have other pressing matters right now. I miss my scrappy time!

Miriam has now, in her words, "transformed into a Brownie." We had a lovely little ceremony for her troop last week. I must say she looks beautiful in brown! Miriam and I are having a blast in Girl Scouts, it is so well organized and teaches wonderful skills. We are fortunate to have a fabulous Troop Leader and a great group of girls and mommies as well.

Hurricane Ike

These pictures are from my Aunt Fern and Uncle Carl's neighborhood just outside of Houston. Think about how far inland Houston is and they still suffered quite a bit of destruction. My Aunt and Uncle were lucky not to have any damage to their home, but the house next door did as well as the house across the street. I am just so happy that they are okay. They did have to leave due to power outages, but they are safe and well-praise Jesus!

Fall is on it's Way!

Yesterday it finally began to feel like fall here. There were even some crunchy leaves on the ground. It seemed like it was hot, hot summer and then suddenly-aaaaaaaaahhhh!

Here are some pictures of the first day of school. I have two full-time students now. Miriam is really liking being a "Big Kid" and eating in the cafeteria. On the two days a week I'm in school they also eat breakfast there. She says she's still getting used to it. (Love that Girl) And my big 5th grader, Kean, likes his new teacher. Unfortunately, he has about an hour of homework a night now. We'll have to adjust to that.

Also, over Labor Day weekend, Miriam and I went to the cabin with my fabulous friend, Nicole and her daughter Jamie. There were lots of giggles and the girls got along famously. Nic and I got a bit of scrappin' done and it was quite the relaxing weekend for both of us.

I also wanted to share this tutorial on making some darling little pumpkins or apples out of old books. Garage sales, here I come!

And big HUGE congratulations to my friend, Sharmaine for placing SECOND in Scrap-n-Crop's Project Scrap-Away contest. Way to go!!! I am so very proud of you!

Also, here are a couple of the layouts I did for my neice's 18th birthday album. I left the journaling cards blank so that my sister-in-law or mother-in-law could fill them in. It was quite the emotional journey. I'm so glad I was able to create this to celebrate her childhood as she begins her life as an adult.

FUN!!! Never thought I would say that, but I just started my Art Design Class today. I am working toward getting my degree and was pleasantly surprised that my prior two years spent at University were not a complete waste. Two classes this semester, three next semester, and I will be done!

So anyway, about my class...I was concerned that it might be too simplistic, I would have a disorganized or lame teacher, etc. But it was fantastic! My teacher is great, very organized, smart, and interesting. We are going to be doing LOTS of art projects (*whee!*) and I had no idea what most of the stuff we are going to learn is, so it should keep my attention. AND, I don't have to buy some expensive text book, just lots of ***ART SUPPLIES***

Considering how demanding this class should be, I'm really glad that I don't have a Design Team spot that would compete for my time. Guess God knows what He's doing after all.

Fireworks Layout

I did this layout last night for Mad Cropper. For some reason, the pictures kept coming out blurry, so this is the best picture I could get. My camera is acting funny, saying that the battery is low even when I replace them with new ones...odd because it took these great firework pics on the 4th.

The journaling reads, "We just love the BANG. Fireworks are our family's very favorite part of Independence Day. 7.04.08"

I used Bazzill cardstock, sei and Stampin' Up patterned paper, American Craft and Queen & Co. brads, Martha Stewart glitter, sei alphabet stickers, inked a Rusty Pickle chipboard photo corner, Jenni Bowlin journaling card, Stampin' Up star punch, a star brad painted with red nail enamel, and Dyno labeler.

Long Time No Blog!

Guess I got caught up in summer stuff and forgot all about blogging. The kids had soccer camp July 14-18 so we were spending our mornings out at Cosumnes River College. Last week was full of playdates, karate, and a Daisy Scout meeting. And last night I had some awesome friends over to play games and hang out. Talk about a lot of hilarity!

I hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th. We had a lovely day that started with a parade in the Parkway neighborhood. Kean's Tang Soo Do class was in the parade and then they did a demonstration afterward. The weather was absolutely perfect.

Then we went to my friend Shannon's house, let the kids swim and jump on the trampoline, and ate an incredible meal. Kristine, Sara, and Deena were there also with their families. I am so lucky to have such wonderful friends to spend the holiday with!

We are headed to Mount Tamalpais this weekend to camp with Deena and her family. I can't wait to get out of this smoky valley!

I finally got some scrap time in the week. Over at SD4U, the big challenge was to create a layout using NO patterned paper and NO embellishments. I had a lot of fun using my punches and stamps to come up with a unique layout, but it took a LONG time. I've always been a slow scrapper, but this one took me several days to complete.

I found this picture of Kean and it was so very cute that I just had to scrap it. I think Bob took it cuz I never would have had Kean out on the grass in his socks. :) It is just adorable and he caught him just right.

lol! I just read about Summer Scrapfest at SD4U. It starts on June 16th, which will get me going on my summer scrapping. Join me over there!

Out on my Birthday...

Welp, I'm out of the contest. And got the news on my birthday too. Ah well. There will be other contests. There was some amazing work in there, so I'm not too bummed. Every experience is a good one and will lead me to where I'm supposed to be.

For this third challenge, we could do anything 70's. They probably didn't think mine was psychedelic enough. And truly I was putting it together VERY last minute. These are pictures of me from the 1970's-I was born in 1974.

So, I'm looking for another contest if anyone knows of one! School is out (finally) on Thursday, so I plan to scrap the summer away.

Doin' the Happy Dance!

I made it through to the next round-unbelievable! As a twist, the contestants voted on the entries. There were some amazing works of art, let me tell ya. You can check them out by clicking here. I am having SO much fun! And I am getting some great layouts done. Scrapbooking is just good for the soul, ya know?

For this challenge, we could only use rubbish. And I took it quite literally, not using any pens, inks, or sewing. Unfortunately not everyone else did, so my layout looks a bit juvenille compared to the other submissions. But I really like it and I have been wanting to do this particular layout for some time now.

We were also advised to not use recognizable photos of ourselves or our families. The only scrapbooking supplies we could use was one piece of cardstock and our photos.

For the metal flower, I cut open a Pepsi can and used a stencil to trace our the shape. Then I scored the shape with an exacto knife and broke the aluminum. After that, I just punched holes with a paper piecer. The letters I cut from cardboard and then pulled it apart to reveal the corrugated part. The ring and tabs are scraps from the Pepsi can and the other letter and words I cut from a newspaper. And of course the tags are from our many LIG clothing items. I never could throw them away-they are really nice coaster type material. I will probably continue to save them since I can always paint them, stamp them, cut them up, etc.

Creating for your Creator

There's a powerful project you can do to unlock your creativity.

Create a layout for your Creator.

It's that simple. Not a layout about your Creator. A layout for your Creator. The layout is a gift for your Creator. If no one else ever sees it, that is fine, because it's a creation for the being or power who created you. The layout can be about anything. But put everything you have into it. Hold nothing back.

If you do not believe that you are the creation of a Creator, or that the world has a willful Creator, that's OK, too. Clearly, there are creative forces at work in the world. Make a layout for those forces (i.e. Nature or some other conception of Nature as Creator). Or make a layout for your ancestors, who are, in a sense, your creators.

As you create this gift, remember the source of the creative power your Creator has given you. Think about how your power is an extension of the power the Creator holds.

I am a person who believes in a Creator, and I believe this belief helps my creativity. I believe I am the creation of a Creator. This single belief has probably been the most powerful belief I have for unlocking creativity in me. This activity tends to resonate particularly well in people who believe in a willful Creator.

We are most like the Creator when we are creating. I believe it pleases the Creator that we create. Especially when we create for the Creator.

There is a story in the Bible about King David that captures this. David had the Ark of the Covenant brought to his city. When the Ark arrived, the Bible says David went down to the street and "danced before the Lord with all his might . . . leaping and dancing before the Lord." (KJV, 2 Samuel 6:14-16)

There are two aspects about the dance that David did for his Creator that I really like. First, the dancing was done "with all his might." Second, it says he was "leaping." This must have been quite a spontaneous and vigorous artistic act. It was so noteworthy, so passionate, it got recorded forever. A dance, recorded forever, because it was so remarkable.

I think that sometimes when we're blocked creatively, it helps to get back in touch with the Being (or forces, or ancestors) who created us. When we understand that we are the result of a creation, and that the power of creation is in us, it feels very natural to create.

Some people may not be comfortable with this exercise because of their own beliefs. If that is your case, try to adapt this exercise for your belief system.

I finished my layout for the 2nd challenge for Project Scrap-Away last night. I could only use ONE piece of cardstock and my pictures. Everything else had to be "rubbish." That's right. I said, "rubbish." NOTHING else that is used in scrapbooking. Let me tell you, it was quite a bit of work to use recycled materials to create scrapbook supplies. This layout took me two days to think about and then around 2 days to complete. I'm really thrilled with how it turned out tho. I will post it as soon as they finish judging. Cross your fingers for me!

I had to rush to finish my layout on time for Project Scrap-away after the holiday weekend. I was not completely happy with it, so I am just *hoping* it is good enough. Knowing me I could have happily spent another two hours on it on top of the six I already spent.

To make me even more nervous, I just found out that Rhonna Farrer and Theresa Collins are going to be JUDGING! I am completely freaking out that they will even see my work. It's a good thing that I didn't know that earlier, I probably would not have entered. *aaaahhhh!*

Well, I did not make the final cut at SD4U. I did meet some neat ladies though. I felt very welcome there. I'm not going to enter any more contests until school is over. These are the layouts I submitted for the challenge.

Also, we had a fantastic Mother's Day/Miriam's 6th Birthday celebration yesterday. Be watching for those pictures.

So funny, but we had more drop-outs this round, so everyone moved on again. I figure if I just hang in there to the end everyone else may drop out. lol...

For Round 3, we are doing a freestyle using die-cut or hand-cut letters, buttons, and lace. We are also doing another Becky Fleck sketch. Time to get scrappin'!

A Couple of Cards...

Well, I've finished another round for SBD4U. I should be able to post the layouts tomorrow.

In the meantime, I have been making cards with my scraps after I complete a layout. I read about this in a magazine recently and it really works well. All my supplies out and my creative juices are flowing. I can do a card in 15 minutes this way!

Well, as predicted, everyone made it through to Round 2. This time I have another sketch for one LO and for the other I have to use fabric, something transparent, and hand journaling. A bit tougher for me since I can't stand the way my writing looks and I always think it ruins the page. Oh well.

I just finished my layouts for the contest-with two hours to spare! Talk about cutting it close! The judging happens tomorrow so I'll post them once I find out the results. We may all be moving forward again since some people in the contest seem to have dropped out or couldn't get their projects done on time. But whatever the decision, I'm really happy with my creations. :D

Last weekend we went to Great America and had a fantastic time. The weather was perfect, the park was clean, and very few people were there. We really liked the rides and attractions also.

Contest Update

So round 1 of the contest for Scrapbook Deals 4 U is over, and everyone who entered progressed to the next round. They were hoping for 35 entrants and only got around 25. Above are the layouts I submitted.

For the second round, I have to complete two projects. One using a sketch and one using 3 photos, paint, and hand stitching. Right up my alley!

I have also decided to join a contest for Scrappin' With Grace in which I can win some Pink Paislee. *swoon*

American Idol

Okay, so I am a serious AI fan and I am really excited about the talent this season. Of the seven that are left, I think they all deserve to be there so it is really hard for me to pick a favorite.
But David Cook has really stood out to me as the most amazing and original artist. BUT last night he just plain sucked! I guess he's either throwing the competition so he can move on to other things, or he's already given every thing he can. I wouldn't blame him if he wants to move on after having to perform "Nine to Five" last week. *lmao*

On the other hand, Michael Johns seems to be blossoming as the weeks go on. He is such a sincere, down to earth guy who can actually sing Freddy Mercury really well. I thought he picked a great song last night AND sang the hell out of it. And it doesn't hurt that he's a smokin' hotty.

And Carly's performance last night was just plain weird. I bet she's going home after that.

That said, I am really not looking forward to Idol Gives Back tonight. Just not a big "Live Aid" type of girl. If I wanted to watch people raise money I'd watch PBS. I do think it's really great that they are raising so much money tho. AND for some great causes.

It's THAT Time of Year Again...

I spent yesterday catching up on filing and doing my taxes. As usual, we OWE. But not too much, especially when I count in the stimulus we all will be getting. Mostly it's just nice to have that weight off my shoulders. It actually only took me all of Sunday afternoon to get it done.

As far as scrapbooking news, I am getting ready to enter another contest this week. The website is www.scrapbookdeals4u.com and the prize is a Design Team spot. This contest will last until the end of June and I am looking forward to getting lots of pages done. Stay tuned for details.
